Twitter Stickers Now Available for All
Always posted an epitome to Twitter and call up to yourself, "Gosh, I wish I could add a lilliputian cat graphic to this photo?"
No? Well, now you can since the micro-blogging platform recently introduced its ain sticker set.
Twitter has completed the rollout of the new sticker characteristic information technology first introduced last month. This means all iOS and Android users tin now jazz-upward their photos with little graphic lightning bolts, snowmen, cactus, watermelon, smiley faces, sunglasses, and tons of other fun stickers.
Twitter is, of course, pretty tardily to the game on this ane, as rival social networks Snapchat and Facebook have had stickers for a while now.
Some users are less than thrilled with the new add-on, pointing out that Twitter should have first made proficient on some other recent hope — to stop counting photos towards the 140-chracter limit, a change that's still non widely bachelor.
Others shared how Twitter should focus its efforts on more important changes: like letting users edit tweets.
To check out the characteristic, just add a photo and tap the smiley-face icon at the bottom of the screen. This volition bring up a library of stickers covering categories ranging from animals and food to technology, flags, and atmospheric condition.
Like hashtags, Twitter stickers aim to brand information technology piece of cake for people to explore a topic of interest or bring together a global conversation. Any public tweet containing a sticker is searchable; just tap on an emblem to think a timeline of messages from people around the world using the aforementioned stamp.
